Take a look at the men behind Rock School.

Joe Burns (That's "Doctor" Burns to you students) grew up in the home of Rock and Roll; in Cleveland, Ohio. At 15 years old he attended a party and heard Van Halen for the first time. All dreams of being a vet were abandoned and a rock star was born. Since none of Dr. Burns' bands were ever signed to recording contracts, a disc jockey was born. Now, after 12 years in radio and two more academic degrees, Dr. Burns teaches in the Communication department and hosts Rock School because he wants his son to think he's cool. And, no. Chad is not Dr. Burns' son, but he does take him as a deduction on his taxes.

Chad P. is a 2002 Southeastern graduate who was an announcer at KSLU during his college days. During that time Dr. Burns taught Chad in several classes including Web Design, Basic & Advanced Video Production, and Commercial Writing. The two teamed up for the 2007 KSLU Fund Drive and rasied the most money during the 3-hour show that year. Chad lives in Gonzales with his wife Stephanie and son Jacob. He hopes to one day stump Dr. Burns so bad that he quits the show and turns his Looney Tunes Golden DVD Collection over to Chad.
